The "Foray Framed Raft 2-Seat" is a combination of our Foray 8-foot 10-inch, self-bailing raft, sold together with our popular Drake fishing frame.
Designed for professional guiding outfits while keeping the serious and casual anglers in mind, Catcher Craft's Foray raft is where to start in size, utility and rafting fun. Whether making leisure weekend floats, or fishing hard out of a single person custom frame, this little raft is perfect for the solo adventurer.
At a combined frame and raft weight of only 88 pounds, maneuvering this boat to and from water by its carry handles is simple. Generous 17-inch diameter chamber raft tubes assure exceptional flotation in all categories of water. All Catcher Craft rafts are constructed with triple thermal-welded seams, utilizing 0.9 mm 1100 denier PVC. Coupled with an additional 1100 denier PVC full bottom wrap and top chafing pads, protect this boat from mid-river boulders and shore side wear. Ten, stainless-steel D-rings provide ample attachment points for gear tie-down options, as well as for securing the Drake Frame to the raft with the included Tigrrr® cam-straps.
New styled 4-inch drop-stitch floors virtually eliminate failures experienced with older style, outdated I-beam floor construction. Each floor is covered by an EVA top layer for added abrasion protecting and ensuring a firm foot-hold.
Trouble-free Leafield C7 valves provide the expected industry standard for inflation/deflation and serviceability.
*This combination includes our Drake 2-Person Narrow Frame. Every frame is proudly manufactured in Washington State using premium 6063 aluminum tubing for an ideal balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight handling.

All Catcher Craft frames feature premium comforts such as, padded high-back seats on swivels for each passenger and a highly comfortable low-back rowers seat. Integrated foot bar for proper all day rowing, as well a front lean bar designed for confident passanger stability while fishing out off our 2 and 3 person models. Our custom engineered anchor system provides smooth, reliable control, helping anglers stay positioned exactly where they need to be on water and can utilize a secondary pulley, giving you the mechanical advantage of lifting your anchor at half its weight.
